On 2 September 2020 was released in the Netherlands the English edition of the Big Commentary on EU Insolvency Regulation: European and International Insolvency Law authored by professor Alexander J. Bělohlávek. The particular commentary represents one of the most comprehensive treatises on the particular matter published until now. This publication has been released in two volumes, totalling over 2,200 pages, and includes also references to laws implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council (including the implementation of the new rules on the interconnection of insolvency registers), and a number of other EU laws as well as international conventions relating to the subject matter of particular provisions. Professor Bělohlávek has also had regard to cross-border connections outside the EU.
